Come join Galaxie team at the Galaxie & Youth Carnival @ Penang Time Square this Saturday and Sunday (11 & 12 July) from 10am until midnight. For those of you who are eager to take part in our festivities, there will be various games including basketball, foosball, arm wrestling, street dance and Galaxie's personal favourite, an eating competition!
There’s also going to be a talent search and a photo competition. Anyone can take part and aim to win the over RM30,000 worth of prizes and cash prizes or you can sit back and watch the fun.
Apart from the games, Galaxie have lined up other events too including a belly dancing performance, a shuffle dance performance and a special performance by Astin Tan.
Not sure this carnival will bring business and life back to the Penang Times Square, but since the opening, the project itself is like a white elephant to me. A visit there during one of my lunch time further proves me right since there are hardly anybody hanging out there. Well, maybe it's because the condos are not being occupied yet or there are just a handy of shops opened at this moment. Hopefully I'm wrong :)

That place is in the middle of Georgetown, which is pretty far from Bayan Lepas. I do think that most of the people nowadays would prever to hang around higher class places like Qbay, just my thought :p
Haha...Times Square is in the middle of nowhere....after the cancellation of the Monorail project, basically the whole market value and selling point of the project is gone...
