Kite flying is a popular form of hobby in Malaysia.
This Saturday, you will be able to enjoy colourful Wau or kites flying and learn the unique skill from our kite expert. The fliers will demonstrate their latest kites such as 2 giant octupus, 2 giant fish, 1 dragon, 5 rokaku and 11 stack bumble bee plus traditional "wau bulan" . All these will be paraded around the field for your viewing.Teams from Perlis, Kedah Johor & Kelantan will be joining. A total of 50 kites will be flying covering the sky of Esplanade, Penang.
The fascination in kites can only be experienced when you witness the various colourful designs completely envelop the sky. Don't miss this opportunity to snap up fantastic photos for your photo album collection.It's a great family outing. So bring along your kids for a relax and fun day at Esplanade.
