SENIOR citizens who have registered for the state government’s appreciation programme can redeem their RM100 annual reward vouchers starting today .
Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng said the state had arranged for a few selected Maybank branches to be open over the weekend for the convenience of the recipients.
“From 9am to 4pm, your children can bring you to the bank to cash the vouchers. The branches opened are stated in the vouchers.
“Those who want to charge us for corruption (because of this programme) can come see us there - all our ADUNs will be waiting,” he said.
The senior citizens only needed to bring their MyKad and the vouchers to the bank to collect their money. Families of recipients who have passed away can collect the money next month.
My parents got theirs today - for my nephew's education fun ??? Haha...
