6th National Lion and Dragon Dance Championship
Date: 18th to 20th July 2010.
Venue: Moral Uplifting Society, Macalister Road

Penang will hold the 6th National Lion and Dragon Dance Championship at Moral Uplifting Society from 18th to 20th July 2010.
A total of 53 teams from 9 states, Penang, Kedah, Perak, Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka, Johor and Sarawak will be fighting for the championship titles.
The competition will kick off with the traditional Lion Dance heat on the 18th July from 9am to 6pm. In the evening, a competition for the special grow-in-the-dark Dragon Dance will take place at 7pm.
On 19th July, the Dragon Dance competition will start from 8am to 1pm. The highlight of this 6th National Lion Dance competition will be at 7pm when the match for Lion Dance On Stilts starts.
On 20th July, 9am to 1pm final competition for Lion Dance On Stilts and a final show with dinner at 7.30pm in the evening.
