RAPID Penang, in conjunction with the coming Thaipusam festival, will give out 2,000 one-way free passes worth RM8,000 to those who visit the company’s ‘thaneer panthal’ (refreshment stall).
Its creative and communications manager Yap Lee Ying said in a press statement that the passes would be handed out tomorrow and on Saturday from 4.30pm onwards at their stall along Jalan Western.
She also said 14 Rapid Penang shuttle buses would be used for the Thaipusam festival.
The buses will begin operations tomorrow from noon to 2am, and from 5am to midnight on Saturday.
